It's the Holidays

Yes, it's that time of year that we all either get overly gitty about our just dread.  The holiday spirit is time that we all get together and have a glass of egg nog, talk about what our plans or for the following year and what we accomplished in the present year.  I for one find this amusing, because, unlike facebook you get a sense if real or if it's just a bunch of bull@#$% I thought it would be a great time for me to start blogging, kind of a way for people to get a feel of who JZ really is #nottherapstar is my new hashtag for 18" Anyway, I hope that you have a wonderful, safe, fun and cheerful 2018 and look forward in making new friends, being creative and bringing the best reviews and news to you. Freak the Mighty I really enjoyed reading the book "Freak the Mighty" by Rodman Philbrick.   he novel is set in a version of Portsmouth, New Hampshire . [2] In the beginning of the book, Maxwell Kane is a young boy with low self-esteem . He lives with his grandfather, Grim, and grandmother, Gram. Max thinks of himself as a butthead. People are afraid of him because he looks like his father, Kenneth "Killer" Kane, a convicted murderer. Max sets the stage for the story by reminiscing about his time in daycare, when he had met a boy named Kevin, or Freak, as their classmates called him. Kevin has Morquio syndrome , wears leg braces and uses crutches, and thinks of himself as a robot and is bullied by many bigger kids due to his short height. However, Max likes Kevin and thinks the crutches and leg braces are neat.
